Performs all duties related to the maintenance and proper food preparation in the Prepared Foods Area. Provides courteous, friendly and efficient customer service. Effectively communicates with Chefs, Team Leader, and store leadership. Maintains a positive customer image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient service.

Will Do:
1. Maintain consistency in food quality standards.
2. Taste your food to insure quality and consistency.
3. Clean as you work.
4. Proper use of recipes ad procedures.
5. Rotate all products. Label, date and cover all food in kitchen.
6. Use preventative maintenance with all kitchen equipment. Train on potential hazards and general safety.
7. Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
8. Maintain effective communication with Team Leader and Chef.
9. Monitor food loss and maintain spoilage sheets.
10. Fulfills hot food request in a timely manner.
11. Effectively maintains full levels in hot case and soup production.
12. Perform other duties, as assigned by Team Leader and follow through in a timely manner.

Must Have:
1. 1-3 years culinary, restaurant or industry experience
2. Able to perform physically requirements of job
3. Practices safe and proper knife and kitchen utensil skills
4. Excellent understanding of quality, scratch food production
5. Good knife skills
6. Ability to work box bailer (must 18 years of age or older)
7. Works well with others and participates as part of a team
